Day 4: Sat 25 Oct, Pattaya

Awake at 3am again but as I went to bed at 8:3pam it didn't matter. So just read, organized my gear, did my morning exercises and then joined Dave and Noy for coffee at 5am.

It was then on the bikes and down to Pattaya Beach to buy some fresh prawns direct from the fishermen. A$20 a kg but they were huge and freshly caught. Back home and into the spar to cool off.  Brekkie of fresh fruit, coffee, bacon and eggs followed.

We then drove to the Nong Nooch Village Thai Cultural & Elephant Show. What an amazing place. First we were treated to a Thai Dance and Fighting display. After which it was the ellie's turn to dance, throw darts, play footy stand on their heads and all sorts of other tricks. The baby ones as usual stole the show. There would have been about 25 ellies involved.

We then had a wander in the huge garden with thousands of statues grouped by animal type over 100s of acres. We couldn't possibly see it all as it would have taken more than a day.
Finished with a lovely Thai lunch and a beer.  It was then back home for a rest.  A late afternoon spar topped off a great day.

Noy excelled herself with garlic & chili prawns followed by seafood soup, delicious and fresh.
Slept till 5am, jet-lag is waning.
